Commonly requested weights include 300, 420, 500, 550, 580, 650, 700, 750 and 900 GSM. GSM measures mass per square metre, not coating thickness or tensile strength. Compare the base fabric, coating, tear resistance, flexibility and coating adhesion alongside weight. A cover handled frequently may need a different construction from a fixed curtain. Fire-retardant and anti-static requirements must be stated separately and supported by the applicable grade’s documentation.
Buy rolls when you have suitable cutting and welding facilities and want to control fabrication. Choose a finished cover when you need a specified size, shaped profile, reinforced hem, eyelets, sleeves or straps. For large sheets, discuss seam positioning and available roll width before fabrication. The material width does not automatically determine the finished cover width; welded panels may be needed.
Send the required GSM or technical specification, colour, quantity of rolls, preferred width and length, application and delivery location. Tell us whether the fabric will be welded, stitched, printed or repeatedly folded. For tender requirements, attach the complete clause and required test standards. We will confirm stock, lead time, packing and commercial terms in writing.
Store rolls in a dry, shaded area away from sharp objects and excessive heat. Keep identification labels with the roll so the grade can be traced during fabrication. Inspect material before cutting, and check the suitability of your welding settings on a sample. Care requirements depend on the coating and finished application; request guidance with the order.
